McFinn Lovere: Love is the Way-Love Yourself, Love Others
In this episode, I had the honor to interview McFinn Lovere. McFinn shares his remarkable story of reversing ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. ALS is considered a terminal illness that slowly progresses over time with the degeneration of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. There is no known cure or cause.
In our interview, McFinn explains what he experienced in having ALS, what he believed caused his ALS and how he was able to reverse it. It is important to distinguish between what is a reversal and what is a cure for a disease. A reversal of a disease is not the same as a cure. McFinn explained to me that a reversal of a disease is a unique experience to an individual. A cure is a known way of healing that can be duplicated for others.
Because of the nature of the disease process of ALS, it is not uncommon for people with the disease to contemplate physician assisted suicide. Soul Seekers Podcast takes the topic of suicide seriously and responsibly. How it pertains in this episode is different than previous episodes. Regardless, if you or anyone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts and ideation, there is help. You can reach out for help by calling 988.
Now, let's get to soul seeking with McFinn Lovere. Let's do it!

I met Erin through a divine appointment between my daughter and her daughter. At first, it all seemed par for the course in how kids make friends and then you meet the parents and sometimes you click and sometimes you don't. Erin was one of the first people I met outside of my family's circle upon moving from CO back to AZ. I was intrigued by what her daughter, Marley shared with me about her mom and her mom's work as a functional medicine nurse with a more holistic and preventative approach to wellness and health. I had my wellness peeps in CO but I was feeling lost in how to dial this in in AZ. Erin became my resource and through that we discovered there was more potential to our relationship. She has been a tremendous resource for me and my family and we seem to be in a divine appointment to do some soul seeking work together.
